I have an idea!

I wish I had the ability to think, and make it so.  I wouldn’t even be averse to having to put in the work, it’s just that all these amazing ideas I have — there’s not enough time!  And sometimes I come up with things and can’t write them down so they dissolve into the ether and are lost forever.

I love the line in the movie Nightshift when Michael Keaton pulls out his portable tape recorder and says into it, “Feed the tunafish mayonaise.”

Why not try everything?  When I go on my photography binges and I’m skimming through my shots, and people are looking over my shoulder they make comments about how poor many of the pictures are.  I always tell them, “Well of course there are crappy pictures, it usually takes a couple hundred snaps before you get that one spectacular moment in the lens.”  We all know Thomas Edison had countless failures before he gave us the light bulb or phonograph.

Each moment of your life is an idea before it happens.  Each period of your life is an idea before it happens.  If life has gotten you down, now is the time to look around and say, “There’s nothing stopping me from becoming what I want to be today.  Yesterday, maybe.  Today is mine!”

Ideas are what built this great country, this great world.  If you have an idea, make it a reality!  Let’s make this world better than it’s ever been!
