I have another addition to their list.  But it is not how to kill Americans, it’s how to kill dumb ass Islamists.  Drop bombs on the people spreading this garbage throughout the world.  Be sure to drop big bombs to do maximum damage while maintaining control of the aircraft.

What’s killing me lately is the downright disingenuous rhetoric of the left and especially that coming from the president himself about the Tea Party movement.  Of course I understand that they have to fight against this new power base to keep their foothold, or rather their chokehold on America.  It wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t just so blatently ignorant and made up.

I had a discussion on Facebook today with a gay friend of mine after I used a quote from Glenn Beck about being yourself and not letting the world dictate who and what you are.  His response was to tell me that if Glenn and his ‘ilk’ had it their way that he would have no place in America.  Well that couldn’t be farther from the truth.  He also told me that part of Glenn’s message is that all gays are predators.

This brings me to a gripe I’ve had since I became familiar with the ignorance and closed minded hypocrisy of my beloved leftist hippie friends when I became an avid follower of the Grateful Dead.  For people who are supposedly so open minded, broad minded and who proclaim to be so accepting of all types and all creeds, these people sure don’t pay attention to anything except what strokes their pleasure centers.  Talk about a bunch of confused blind-leading-the-blind, malcontent, do-gooders.

It really is quite simple.  Those who hate what is happening on the political right lately have no other choice but to make up the vitriol that keeps people from feeling the need to research for themselves the messages of the Tea Party movement.  If they analyzed the truth of the message they would be confounded into agreeing with it.

Their power is at stake.  They have to lie, it’s the only way they can continue on their course.  After all, their path has been paved with lies and the rhetoric and politics of fear, calling white black and black white, truth error and error truth.  They will tell you up is down and believe it.  They have to.  If they told the truth they would be exposed for the rats they are.

The things I do remember him doing were to reintroduce the socialist bailout philosophies of FDR by saving Chrysler.  He did move to deregulate the airline industry which to me is a good thing.  Deregulation is always a good move in a capitalist economy.  It ultimately hurts some but is a promoter of freedom and free industry.  It spawns growth and new ideas.  The cream rises to the top in a deregulated economy.

But the honest to goodness truth is that in this free market economy the lobbyists have such a stronghold that the government is ultimately in control by all the glad-handing going on in Washington.  That puts the big money deals directly into the pockets of those with the most power and influence rather than giving it to those with the best ideas and best interest for the people.

Jimmy Carter showed his true yellow color when he boycotted the 1980 summer olympics.  It is my opinion that no matter what is going on in the world, except at the expense of our freedom and safety, that the United States should go wherever they can and shine our humanitarian light because we are a standard to the world and should never shrink to an opportunity to stand up and compete, to excel and to be an example of a people who will not cower in the face of adversity.

Competition and grit is the essence of what built this great nation and society.  But what does it matter, that was thirty years ago, right?  It’s not like he set a presedent for things to come or anything.

Today Carter compared  his run for the presidency to the surge in popularity of the Tea Party

“I was a candidate that was in some ways like the tea party candidate,” Carter said in an interview. “I was a complete outsider. I capitalized legitimately on the dissatisfaction that was permeating our society.

“I think they’re going to be quite a major factor in November,” he said. “I think there’s already a process of absorbing them into the Republican Party. I think they will be much less of a factor in 2012 and in future years.”

 One important thing that P38 is forgetting about is the Ronald Reagan landslide ass-beating of 1980.  Jimmy Carter constantly wants to set himself up as some sort of historical figure to be remembered.  He is still trying to establish his legacy in a positive light but the facts remain and history can’t be rewritten.  Jimmy Carter was a failure as a president.  Stagflation became the word of the term and the Iran hostage crisis was the pinnacle.

Now he wants to try to inject hope into the hearts of the clearly defeated leftist politicians who threw all their hope into the Obama egg basket by telling us that just as he was a temporary change due to the disenfranchisement of the American people, so will be the Tea Party victories in 2010.  But he says it will not last into 2012.

Well he is seeing things wrong.  The truth is that the Jimmy Carter of this generation is President Obama and the Ronald Reagan is the Tea Party movement.  If the Tea Party movement is absorbed into the Republican party then it will be a much needed light shed on the darkness that has permeated the party over the past 20 or so years.

In any case, the Tea Party is going to save us from the enemy that has infiltrated our government and schemed for so many  years, so patiently and so subtley to destroy and dismiss the power of our mighty constitution.

I see it this way.  The difference is that those who have hope in the future and in our constitution as it was instituted centuries ago are the people who have a faith in Christ and/or in a God who loves and who saves.  That is hope.

Those who want to globalise everything and who look to Europe as the standard of government and society are those who need tangible evidence to everything before they will believe or support something.  I boils down to believers and non-believers if it is to be put into a proverbial context, and that’s what I see happenning.

A great outpouring of knowledge and inspiration has just taken place.  We can’t see it but those who are prepared can sense it and they are being affected by it and continuing to be prepared for what is to come. 

God bless us all and God bless this great nation.

There are many famous First Ladies who have done some great things and left great impressions on this country and helped shape our culture.  In my time I remember people like Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton (although she made her role very political) and Barbara and Laura Bush.  These women all made a great impact and worked very hard to do what they believed was in the best interest of the country for the positions that they held in their lives at that time.  They made the most of their role as First Ladies.

Whether or not we agree with their views or what they did, they did their best with their time when they had it.  That is commendable and that is a good standard and example to look to in that regard.

So far I only know the following about Michelle Obama’s acccomplishments as First Lady.  She wants to help the childhood obesity problem in this country.  That sounds great.  So, what is she doing about it?  Not much.  I did read recently in the news that she is telling fast food joints to sell more apples and to serve carrots instead of fries.  I think solving the childhood obesity problem this way is like solving the problem if cigarette addiction by putting filters on them and warnings on the packages.

I shouldn’t put her down for this.  It’s a good cause and certainly one we should address.  But I don’t think it’s the fault of our fast food restaurants or their aggressive marketing.  It’s the fault of the parents.  But this is not what I’m writing this for.

Recently the First Lady of France asked Mrs. Obama what it’s like being the First Lady of the United States.  Her response was, “Don’t ask.  It’s hell.  I can’t stand it.”

Nice.  That is certainly not the standard I would like for my daughters to hear from the First Lady of this country.  I’m just glad nobody cares how she really feels or what she thinks.  There was a time when the American people would be concerned for the First Lady if she wasn’t happy in her position.

OK, that wasn’t a fair shot to take.  I’m sure there are people who care how she feels.  I’m sure there’s some ACLU lawyer out there finding someone to point the finger at for her unhappiness.

Good thing for the Obama’s she’s going to be able to gloss this major faux paus over by telling us all that she was somehow off her game that day and that’s not actually how she feels.  Then they will make up some scenario that puts her response in context and excuses it.  But it’s out there and we all know how she really feels.

The arrogance and disdain the Obama’s have and the pompous, uppity, snobbish attitudes of the left are so bad for this country and our up and coming generation.  I can’t believe the Obammas are in the Whitehouse.  Hollywood and the media can be thanked for that!  I sure hope this country will learn that lesson finally!

General Patraeus is asking nutball Pastor Terry Jones not to burn a bunch of copies of the Quran on September, 11 2010 because it might put our troops in harm’s way.  First of all, there’s nothing like celebrating the slaughter of 3000+ innocent lives by fueling the fire of an already out of control burn.  Good job you wonderful Christian people!  I’m sure the good Lord is smiling down on you and happy that, of all the things you could have chosen to do, you chose to burn the scriptures of your favorite enemy.

Morons.

So President Obama is now flailing like a psych ward patient in a full blown panic attack.  He is rearing back to throw a Hail Mary into the economy, or rather his public image.  He is proposing a fifty billion dollar stimulus injection to build up our infrastructure; roads, highways and runways he says.  Sure it will create some jobs but how about creating some jobs that generate a little revenue for the economy?  From where I’m sitting this whole project looks like it’s going to be nothing more than another fifty billion thrown into the debt pool.

I have an idea.  Since you’ve already destroyed our economy and our morale how about you just go golfing for the rest of your term?  I can’t wait until this guy tries to run for reelection.  Remember when Jimmy Carter went up against Ronald Reagan?  This is going to make that landslide victory look like the Bush 43 vs. Al Gore election.  Hello, dangling chads!

And there was another massive earthquake, this time in New Zealand.  Fortunately they have strict building codes and even though they took on close to a billion dollars worth of damage, nobody was killed and there were only two reported injuries.  Whoa!  Now that’s a miracle!  But the kicker from this story is that when the plates shifted half of the earth moved about eleven feet.

The book of Isaiah in the Bible tells us that in the last days the earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard.  I’d say we’re seeing exactly that happening right now.  The book of Revelation tells us that there will be an earthquake ‘as has not occurred since men were upon the earth’.  I’d say that perhaps that prophesy speaks of the Sumatra earthquake we had a few years ago that changed the earth’s rotation and vibrated the entire planet for a time.  When an earthquake causes the death of hundreds of thousands of people, I’m starting to see something I don’t think mankind has ever known before.

The thing that has me guffawing more than any other right now though, is President Obama’s withdrawl of our troops from Iraq.  He is claiming that the war is over.  The war isn’t over.  The war will never be over.  It should never have been started, but it will never be over.  Not until Armageddon.  He called the troops home right about the time they were engaged in battle again.  What is this guy smoking?  He tells the Taliban in Afghanistan when we’re going to withdraw from their area, giving them exactly what they need to lay low until things are all clear for them, then he pulls the US troops (not all of them, we still have 50,000 hanging loose over there) with no clear exit strategy other than to just leave.  See ya, we’re outta here.  Good luck with everything, sorry we trashed your country.

It’s so easy for me to sit here in my blogging chair and judge the choices of those in power, and I know everything I say is salted with a dash of sarcasm.  And I know there is much more to every story than just the tiny bit I choose to mention.  But seriously, Barack Obama?  The guy is an embarassment to this country and everything it stands for.

You want a good example of what a serious piece of trash the guy is?  Glenn Beck gathers around 500,000 good red blooded Americans for his rally on 8/28/2010 in Washington DC.  This is the largest gathering ever at the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument area.  People want some good to happen and they want some good and decent leadership.  They wanted to send a message and this is what our president had to say about this rally.  Nothing.  He was golfing.

Even if I despise the man in office, he is still the president of the United States of America.

And he called the  troops home finally.  Good for him.  He can put that one on his upper shelf…’stopped war, check’.  Nice work Jimmy.

I don’t mean to be disrespectful to the man but holy cow already, can we just say that he and  his ilk are partying it up like they just won the lottery and they are treating the country like, this is just what’s going to happen and it’s OK, nothing we can do about it.  But while I’m in my President seat I’m going to rock it with some style.

And so he does, with the what,  400 guests in Spain something or other that  we just paid for his wife to go have a good old time?  That trumps Bill Cllinton’s million dollar hair cut for sure.

Yea I know I’m being facetious but that’s what they’re doing to us!  They are in the Whitehouse grinding their thumb in our eyes just living it up and doing nothing for this country.  It’s a disgrace!  I’ll be called a racist and a bigot but I don’t care because this country is more important than showing up and flaunting the pride chip you have on your shoulder to the world.

I feel like Obama has taken us and just done with his own pleasure whatever he wanted to.  I know it’s not that cut and dried but good lord all mighty, what is going on around us?  The dude is recreating like no other and his family is taking advantage of their luxuries and it’s just irresponsible. 

A president is supposed to be a leader, a guide!  Someone we can look to for comfort and security.  People say the president is a puppet.  Yeah, so be it but he needs to represent himself as a leader of hope and Obama is doing none of that.

I see so much potential in the world still, so much good that can be done.  Why does not the US president stand up and tell the American people what to do?  To  love your brother, to help one another, to give service and give love.  It really is that simple.  They are cowards.  They need to stand before God and do this for our nation.

First off, the issue for me is not that gay people are bad or that I don’t like them.  That is not it at all.  And it pisses me off to no end that because I believe what I believe and I stand for what I stand for that I am called a bigot or that I am promoting hatred toward what I view as a deviant group in our society.

When I use a term like ‘deviant’, I offend.  But think it over a little bit and decide for yourself if deviant is not the correct term to describe homosexuality.  The definition is a departure from the accepted norm.  I’d say that being gay is definitely a departure from the accepted norm.

There is the issue of whether being gay is a choice or whether it’s something you’re born with.  I believe there are people who are born with same sex attraction tendencies.  So yes, I suppose I believe there are people who are born gay.  And there are certainly those who choose to be gay.

I have an addiction.  There is an issue of addiction that runs in my family.  I have certainly passed this addiction on to my children as well.  But because my children are born with tendencies toward addiction, does it make them, by default, alcoholics or junkies? And, just because someone is born with what seems to be a natural attraction to the same sex, does that make them gay?

I believe that we all have our own personal heavy burdens of responsibility given to us by our Creator.  And with those burdens of responsibility we have to make choices.  And that is what life is made of; choices.  We always have options and we always have choices to make.  But we have rules and guidelines that we must abide by in making these choices and in weighing our options.

The reason the gay community is so offended by those of us who disagree with their lifestyle is because we look to our standards and our standards tell us that this behavior is wrong, bad, deviant, unusual, queer, naughty, etc.  They don’t like to be told that they are doing something wrong.  Nobody likes to be told they’re wrong.

But it’s either right or it’s wrong.

As members of this human family we all have responsibility to live up to our potential.  This life is a life of learning, a life of trials and a life of burdens.  Overcoming our burdens is what gives us strength, experience and knowledge, and we will carry these things with us into the next life if we are able to press on and achieve our potential.

Some are given far more than I could bear, like those who have the burden of same sex attraction.  I call it a burden because in society today it is a burden for them.  But I believe that it is their responsibility to manage that deviant desire and still do what is right, just as I have to manage my addictions and not escape into the comfort of drugs euphoria.

If there is a right and a wrong, and I believe that there is; and I believe that homosexuality is wrong, then there is a choice to be made for anyone struggling with same sex attraction.

But just as we all make wrong choices and give in to our carnal desires, these good people who are attracted to their same gender have to struggle with their feelings and passions; and today homosexuality is very commonplace in our society and it is easier than ever to be openly gay.  That’s not to say that being openly gay is easy, but it is definitely accepted today more than it was twenty years ago.

I have a drug addiction and have, in the past lived the drug user lifestyle.  But I don’t want to take drugs or have them made readily available to me because it is morally wrong.  Homosexuality is not the same as drug addiction, but it is a desire, a passion, something that consumes the person’s every thought at times and it becomes a lifestyle; and it is a moral issue.  And that’s where the conflict arises.  Who is the judge of morality?

So it becomes an issue of personal beliefs.  Many people compromise their beliefs to support gay rights because they want to be part of the crowd.  I can’t do that.  That doesn’t mean I don’t like gay people or that I want them to be punished or made to feel inferior in any way.  It just means that I think they made a wrong turn somewhere in their judgement just like I did to become a drug addict.

When it comes to giving them rights, they have all the rights I have and I have all the rights they have.  There should be  no issue of men marrying men and women marrying women.

The soldiers began to come home and suddenly there was no more war movie on the news every night but there were some bad things going on when the vets came home.  Thanks to traitors like John F. Kerry and others, our soldiers were portrayed as baby killers, rapists and murderers; when they were just kids sent to do a duty for their country.

These poor soldiers got thrown into this new war; a much different war than anything an American GI had ever known before.  One out of four became addicted to heroine to ease the trauma and stress of this insane war.  Many of these soldiers returned to the states with their heads completely scrambled.

These young men, who were the future of America, were traumatized and confused as to where they fit in, what their role was in society, what power they now had and how they had to tame the beast that was unleashed while they were fighting after they came back to the way life used to be.  It didn’t work for them.  It couldn’t work for them.  It wasn’t like the other wars; where you would have your heroes and your treaties and your winners and losers.

The repercussions of this war were weaving their way through the fabric of our society and polarizing the nation.  For the first time in our history, our soldiers came home from battle and were looked upon as the enemy by their own country.  How could this have happened?  Who spun this mess to destroy these young men’s lives like this?

It was the counter culture and their rebellion; the hippies.

They wanted to do something good, reform society; but what they did was carve a rift through this great nation and put youth against authority, government against academia and just like a cracked windshield, it spread out of control and in all directions, infecting people’s understanding of politics, ethics, and even religion.

By the time anyone was able to see what was happening, the damage had been done and this great country was beyond repair.  The hippie counter culture cancer had begun to decay our nation.  Their ideology was based on selfish principles, going against what has worked for so many years, causing strife and upheaval in people’s lives.  They called it freedom.  What it was in reality was bondage; bondage according to their dictates, their philosophies, influenced by mind altering drugs and so-called free love expression.

They brought us STDs and a sharp rise in illegitimate births under the umbrella of “free love”.  They started the sexual revolution, which was nothing more than a proactive petition for irresponsible behavior free of consequences.  The consequences were not immediate, but they came, and they have damaged our precious nation and its wholesome family values.  Lost innocence was the result as these irresponsible youths pushed and clamored for attention from the media; and they got it.  And when they got it they forced their opinions and ideas on the rest of us whether we wanted to partake in it or not.  So we were fed their propaganda through any medium they could deliver to us.

They disguised their assault on America’s values as art and free speech.  They did it with sensationalism, bumper stickers, sound bytes and protest chants.  It was all about repetition and forcefully sinking their message into the minds of those who didn’t want to hear it.  Symbols of their rebellious opposition to our former patriotism started showing up everywhere and become accepted as American culture.  The hippies became fashionable.  They used art as a way of spreading their doctrine.  They assaulted the senses with photography, paintings, music, movies, magazines, signs, gatherings; anything they could do to get the masses to pay attention, just enough attention so that their poison could be introduced into the minds of the American people.

They wanted to convert everyone to their way of believing, but they were such hypocrites in their message of free thinking and individuality.  These freaks created their own religion and worked just as hard as any cult to convert the masses to their way of thinking.  And it continued to spread as the changing of the guard takes place from generation to generation, these unbound and revolutionary ideologues took over our curriculum, they homogenized things like, patriotism, failure and achievement and began to inject sexuality into every aspect of our culture and sex education into our schools in tandem with the sexual revolution.

This is what happened to America.  They called it progressive, but what it really was, was taking the innocence from our children far too early in their lives and putting the focus of boy-girl relationships on sex rather than innocent puppy-love that used to be cute for kids to experience and awkwardly but safely enjoy.

Academia has been infected by the ideologues as they inject small bits at a time of their dogma into the regular main stream.  A little here, a little there, until school principals are handing out condoms, Christmas is a bad word and the mere mention of discipline could result in the expulsion of a teacher.  All the while kids are being taught how to properly pleasure themselves with the introduction of safe sex education, free of responsibility and free of consequence.

No longer is it OK to teach children that they have to draw a line at some point to protect themselves.  Now they’re taught to toe that line and experiment to see what comes of their exploration.

Thanks to the counter culture revolution we have a major increase in unwed pregnancies, the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and the breakdown of the traditional family.  First the poison is introduced, then it is tolerated, then it is accepted, and eventually it is embraced as a regular part of life.

The women’s liberation movement was a big part of that counter culture revolution too; Gloria Steinem and her feminist sisterhood.  She introduced us to the title of Ms. in addition to Mr. and Mrs.  While well meaning, she didn’t have her eye on the right mark and she lacked the proper vision and wisdom to speak for women of America.  But, her message was enticing to many and they embraced the tenets of the Women’s Liberation Movement and they worked hard to equal themselves to men.

Change may have been necessary, but when it came, it was loaded with pit falls.  The Women’s Liberation Movement exacerbated the issue of women against men and began to draw lines and create new rules and issues by which these disenfranchised women could identify them selves.  The result of all of this so-called enlightenment was a rapid increase in divorce, latch-key kids came from this movement and step families became an accepted norm.

Previous to this our country had been built on the solid foundation of the family bond.  There is something indestructible about a family united with purpose.  There is wisdom in the years of the elderly passed down to the younger generations, there is strength in the bond of a committed family, there is power to create, to heal, to build up and to fortify when families are bound together.  United we stand.  Divided we fall.  It is so true.  And the interjection of these counter culture values began to erode the core of what made America great; the family.

And once the family structure begins to unravel, society as a whole is in danger of collapse.  It is so simple to see that the family is the critical element to holding this great nation together, but something has infected our society and it is so cancerous and destructive now that we now we find ourselves in the midst of redefining the marriage covenant being between a man and a woman to being genderless.  How far have we slipped from our core?  How far have we come as a society to go from the grit and strength of a solid, tried and true, safe family structure to men marrying men being a constitutional issue?

The hippies rebelled against rules and regulations that were designed not to confine or imprison, but to help balance and manage our freedoms, to elicit individual responsibility.  They disregarded their responsibilities for pleasure and introduced the consequences of their actions into the mainstream of our lives, and as they cascaded into our homes through every media outlet we all became familiar and comfortable with them.

They turned everything upside down and then as these hippie rebels aged and matured, they carried their philosophies into our governments, our schools and institutions and now this nation is infected with that cancerous hippie ideology and people can’t even see where we once were and where we are headed.

Brian: I.. actually, Matt.. I kinda wanna be a writer..

Matt Foley: We-e-e-elll.. la-de-freakin’-da! We’ve got ourselves a writer here! Hey, Dad, I can’t see real good…is that Bill Shakespeare over there?

This is about the response I got from some of my most trusted friends when I told them I wanted to be a writer, publish a book and create a screenplay based on my life.  I’m here to tell you and old Matt Foley that those naysayers are full of it!

I’ve done a lot in my life, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I’ve surprised people with things I’ve set my mind to.  If a movie has been made and a book has been published then I can surely do it and so can you or anyone else.

The truth is that I’m 43, I am divorced, I have six kids, I’m unemployed and I live in a corner bedroom at my mother’s house.  That’s actually true, but it is temporary.  I have recently been laid off from a six figure executive position and lost all of my savings, my car and got a DUI after allowing all of this downturn to overcome me.  Now I am digging myself out of this hole and moving myself back into the fast lane and into first place in my life.

So far, what have I learned through this process?  I have learned that there are as many different opinions as there are stars in the sky, and the only opinions that are correct are the ones I believe.

My successes and my failures are out there for me to choose and make come true.  They are both waiting for me; as in nature, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, so in life there is opposition in all things.  For me to choose failure would mean there is a success that was missed.  For me to choose success means there was a failure missed.

So, my failures and my successes already exist, they are just waiting for me to realize one or the other.  And something incredibly important to remember in all of this is; if I have any sort of failure, my success is still out there for me to achieve, so quitting is never an option.

Now go out, get the world by the tail, and wrap it around and put it in your pocket!

I should probably state before I get too far out of the gate here that I believe what the bible says about the flood, creation (although there’s no way it was seven twenty four hour days), the resurrection, etc. There are some bible stories that may have been described in such a way as to cause the reader to believe something a little bit too outrageous to be true. I don’t know, it’s just a thought; like Lot’s wife turning into a pillar of salt. All we know is that they were warned not to look back, and then we read that his wife “looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt”.

The Cecil B. Demille version shows her literally becoming salt before Lot’s eyes as she turns to watch the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I may be called a blasphemer by the fundamentalists, but I don’t believe it was that cut and dried; bing, bang, bong, you’re a pillar of salt now.

I don’t know what the whole “becoming a pillar of salt” really means; whether she actually became salt, or if she went back to grab something she forgot because the “angels” rushed them out of their house and was consumed by some fiery shrapnel, or what. Whatever it means, Lot’s wife went against the Word and paid the price; and we get the lesson from it.

So, what do this rant about confusing bible stories and dinosaurs have to do with each other? Well, the first part of Genesis is given to us by Moses. It was given to him by revelation. We don’t have any record of what happened except for what he saw in vision. And what I’m trying to say is that a lot happened during those first thousand or so years, and it was all synopsisized (yea, I made that word up) into the first fifteen or twenty chapters of the bible by our pal Moses. So some of it might not come across as literal as what actually happened.

I’m a creationist. The evolutionists have good theories, I don’t discount everything they say; that would be stupid. They say that the earth, at one time was organized as a single land mass and that the tectonic plates split up and gave us our modern day topography. They also say that the “Bering land bridge” helped emigrate people from Asia to North America long ago. Science needs to publish theories that make them feel confident and doctoral; so today we are taught evolution, land bridges and tectonic plate shifts.

In addition to all of this we have been given what is known as the impact theory (also known as the single impact theory or the dinosaur impact theory).  The impact theory states that 65 bizillion gozillion years ago a meteor collided with what we now know as the Yucutan peninsula in Mexico which created an explosion of such energy that it scattered debris high into the atmosphere and then rained trillions of meteorites down on the earth which scorched the earth, the plant life and animal life.  The dust created by this impact caused an ‘impact winter’ which blotted out the sun, killing off plant life and starving the animal life that depended on the plant life for survival.

So, the order of demolition of the dinosaurs was first to be blasted by the approaching meteor’s impact and the intense heat created by its contact with our atmosphere, then they were roasted by the falling debris, then they were frozen by the impact winter.

Recently many scientists are uncovering evidence that this single impact theory is less and less plausible.  One piece of evidence that is more important than any other has to do with the KT boundary layer.  This is a thin layer of rock found around the world which is supposed to be 65 million years old, formed around the time the dinosaurs are supposed to have been extinct.  This thin layer of rock contains high conentrations of an element called iridium, which is thought to come from meteors.  And, just below this layer of iridium is a layer of ‘spherules’, tiny balls of rock which have been vaporized by a massive impact.  Chemical analysis has confirmed that the spherules came from the crater created by the Yucutan peninsula impact.

But the big problem with the correlation between this layer of rock and the dinosaur impact theory is that not a single dinosaur fossil or bone or a single trace of dinosaur matter has been discovered within this layer of rock.  If this massive impact is indeed what killed the dinosaurs then it would be loaded with preserved dinosaur fossils and all kinds of evidence proving the time of the dinosaur extinction was the same time this layer of rock was formed.

What then happened to the dinosaurs and what do we make of the science that has been so widely accepted for so many years?

I’m here to say that we have the actual truth written out in that simple little book called the bible. It’s not all there, not by a long shot, but enough is there. And if science would have the guts to merge with the historical accounts in the bible, I would bet that a lot of unanswered questions would be resolved.

Here’s the history of the world according to me. After the earth was created, and some time before Adam and Eve were created, the continents were arranged as we know them today. Adam and Eve were created in North America and yadda, yadda, yadda; Noah is told to build the arc.

So Noah is faced with the issue of bringing all sorts of animals into the arc; but I don’t believe for one moment that he was able to save them all. And this brings us to the issue of the dinosaurs.

The bible tells us that there were giants on the earth in those days. So Noah is building an arc in North America where all the dinosaurs live, but he has to leave them behind.

The flood comes, the dinosaurs die, Noah and pals float off to Asia and start again in the Eastern Hemisphere. Hence, we have dinosaur fossils all over North America and here and there in other parts of the world.  But in North America we have fossils galore!.

And it’s really that simple. The flood told in the bible actually happened, which killed the dinosaurs and all mankind, and sent Noah far east to start the world all over again in a new land.

I find it fascinating that as science and archaeology make advances, they verify many of our age old bible stories. It’s unfortunate however, that the scientific community at large still dismisses the bible as a book of fables.
